James Michael Huss Jr., 45, of Phoenix, Ariz., died Jan. 2, 2011, in Aurora. Vigil service and recitation of the Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 11, at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, with the Rev. Robert L. Wedow officiating. Inurnment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Huss was born Feb. 15, 1965, in Denver, to James Michael Huss Sr. and Carole L. (Johnson) Huss. He graduated from Sterling High School in 1984, and from NJC in 1986. He continued his education for one year at UNC.

He lived in Denver and worked for Rose Medical Center. In 2002, he moved to Phoenix, where he worked in medical records at Arizona Pediatrics Cardiology.

He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. He enjoyed sports, collected ballpoint pens, and watched the 1960s shows.

Mr. Huss is survived by his father, Jim Huss Sr. of Sterling; grandmother, Henrietta Huss of Sterling; sister, Christina M. Huss of Phoenix; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Carole Huss.
