Helen Elaine Johnson, 90, of Sterling, CO passed away Thursday, June 15, 2017 in Sterling. The family will receive friends from 1:30pm to 4:00pm, Sunday, June 18 at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 1:30pm, Monday, June 19 at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home with Rev. Justin Steimer officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery.

Helen was born on May 4, 1927 in Sterling, Colorado to Earl and Neva (Miller) Henry. She married Dale E. Johnson on August 12, 1945 in Sterling.

Helen was a lifetime area resident, a member of the Baptist Church, and a former member of the Rebecca Lodge. She enjoyed crocheting and worked in area businesses specializing in clothing.
Preceding her in death are her husband, Dale who died in 1988, one sister and five brothers.

She is survived by daughters Janice Ruble of Sterling, Linda Johnson of Jaraso, CO, Patti Pickering and husband Kelly of Sterling, Rocky Johnson and wife Kolette of Sterling, Tim Johnson and Susan Cagle of Sterling; 17 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
