Harvey M. Prickett, 71, of LaSalle, died May 19, 2010, in LaSalle. Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 23, at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, May 24, at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Young officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery.

Mr. Prickett was born Nov. 12, 1938, in LaJunta to Alvin Leslie and Eunice Mae (Frecka) Prickett.
He graduated from LaJunta High School in 1960. He continued his education at the Colorado School of Mines for two years. He served in the Army National Guard and later enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps., where he served in special operations for several years.

After Harvey M. Prickett his discharge, he worked in various jobs. He was a Realtor, living in Alaska and Colorado, moving back to Colorado in 2008.

He married Marjorie Buckler in Anchorage, Alaska, on Oct. 12, 1976.

He was interested in racing cars, guns, hunting, fishing, and other outdoor activities, and working in the real estate business. He enjoyed his children and grandchildren.

Mr. Prickett is survived by his wife, Marjorie of LaSalle; daughters, Donnalee, Susan, Sandi, Leslie and Kimberly; sons, Harvey Dean, William and Daniel; brother, Les Prickett; and many grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Eunice Prickett; and two children, Jason and Linda.
