Harry A. Wickman

Harry A. Wickman, 67, of Crook, died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2008, in Crook. Visitation will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home, with funeral services following at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. Dave Tyree will officiate. Interment will be held at Riverside Cemetery, with military rites performed by American Legion Post No. 20.
Mr. Wickman was born March 15, 1940, to Marcus D. Wickman and Amelia Debus in Sterling. He graduated from high school and served in the U.S. Army.
He farmed in the Crook area with his parents. Upon his discharge from the U.S. Army, he returned to Crook to continue farming.
Mr. Wickman loved adventure and animals. He learned to fly airplanes and helicopters and had many adventures with flying. Every animal had a friend in him.
He is survived by a host of friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Marcus and Amelia Wickman.
