Harry Charles Harr Bear Bevans, 65, of Crook, died May 3, 2007, in Sterling.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today, May 4, and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 5, at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 5, at the funeral home with Deacon Ronald Michieli officiating. Services will conclude at the funeral home.
Mr. Bevans was born April 26, 1942, to George and Dovie (Homer) Bevans in Parker.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. He worked at the R & R Meat Co. He enjoyed fishing, his dogs and family, and camping. He was a great uncle and special brother.
Mr. Bevans is survived by his brother, Eric Crandall of Denver; sisters, Dianne Powell of Peetz, Charlene Chavez of Los Angeles, Norma McNamara of Las Vegas, and Donna Vaughn of Peetz; numerous nieces and nephews and others who loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Dovie Bevans; and brothers, Donald and Jack Bevans.
