Harriet G. Ferguson Wolever, 87, of Sterling, CO formerly of Ft. Collins, CO passed into eternal life joining her husband Clyde and daughter Joni on Monday, July 29, 2024. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 6, at Halouska Family-Chaney-Reager Funeral Home with Rev. Spencer Green officiating. Inurnment to follow at Riverside Cemetery.

Harriet was born April 27, 1937, in Sterling, Colorado to Nelson and Madeline (Gilliland) Ferguson.

She attended Willard Elementary School until the 8th grade and graduated from Merino High School in 1955. She married Clyde E. Wolever on January 29, 1962, at the Methodist Church in Ft. Morgan, Colorado. They welcomed their beloved daughter, Joni Lynn Wolever on October 5, 1970.

Harriet worked for the Dekalb Seed Company, The Sterling Journal Advocate and for a short time with Don K. Smith attorney. Harriet and Clyde made their home on the farm south of Willard, Colorado. She loved raising flowers and vegetables in her gardens. They enjoyed movies at the theater and drive-in, eating at restaurants, trying new recipes and hosting family gatherings.

She was preceded in death by her husband Clyde, daughter Joni, parents Nelson and Madeline, sister Joyce Weatherill, brother Gerald Ferguson, brothers-in-law Wesley Wolever and Jerry Wolever and nephews Rick Wolever and Sam Wolever.

Harriet is survived by her nephews Bryan (Stephanie) Weatherill, David (Lisa) Wolever, Tim (Pat) Wolever, Gary Houghton; nieces Suzy (Mike) Pomaranski, Stacy (Terry) Butcher, Jeralyn (Gary) Egger, and Becki (Steve) Molitor, sister Linda Houghton, brother-in-law Lane Weatherill, sister-in-law Lois Wolever and numerous great nieces and nephews.
