Obituary

Memorial service 10:00am Fri., Sept. 7, 2012 at Columbine Park at the Veteran Memorial. Chaplain Fred Kubitz officiating. Military rites by the American Legion, VFW, and the US Marines.

Harold was born May 4, 1950 to Phillip and Norma Chessmorre Vondy in Denver, Colorado. He graduated from high school, continuing his education for another year. He entered the US Marines from 1971 until his discharge in 1974, and went into the reserves for another two years. Harold was an over the road trucker thru the years.

Harold was a member of the American Legion Post No. 20, Moose Lodge and was of the Methodist Faith.

He is survived by son Brad Vondy of Denver, CO; daughters Minda Vondy of Sterling; Misty Brown and husband Joe of Rangely, CO; two sisters; two brothers; and grandchildren Christina Gliem, Aaron York, Joseph York, Timothy Stieb, Jr, Matthew Brown.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
