Harold "Hal" Baker, 62 of Peetz, CO passed away Sunday, August 9, 2020 in Sterling. Per Hal's request, there will be no services.

Harold was born August 28, 1957 in Cheyenne, WY to Thomas Baker and Betty (Ray) Baker. Hal attended and graduated from Highland High School in Ault, CO. After graduation, he attended college in Glenwood Springs, CO at Colorado Mountain College. Hal moved to Peetz and worked at Cabela for over 20 years as a packaging associate. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and skiing.  Hal was an exceptional fisherman winning several master Angler awards in Nebraska over the years.

Hal is preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Betty Baker; grandparents Glenn and Dorothy Baker of Cheyenne, WY and Bill and Opal Ray of Big Piney, WY.

He is survived by his brother Tim Baker and wife Lynn of Lead, SD, nephews Justin Baker of Greeley, CO and Josh Thompson of Lead, SD and niece Holly Baker of Lead, SD.
