Grace Irene Fowler, 91, of Greeley, died July 11, 2009. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 14, at Riverside Cemetery, with the Rev. Derek DeToni-Hill officiating.
She was born Sept. 5, 1917, to John C. and Katherine G. Horner in Fleming. She graduated from Padroni High School.
On Aug. 1, 1938, she married John "Buck" M. Fowler in Scottsbluff, Neb. On Aug. 1, 2003, they celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary with family and friends at their home in Sterling.
Mrs. Fowler enjoyed gardening, canning, sewing, crocheting and knitting.
She is survived by her four children, Ronald Fowler of Greeley, Judy Williamson of Greeley, Betty Workman of Falcon and Barbara Van Hook of Chandler, Ariz.; grandchildren, Derrick, Steven and Ed, Deborah and David, and Lindsay; and eight great-grandchildren, Tabbatha, Brittany, Spencer, Kailey, Paige, Sadie, Jacob and Connor.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Heritage Center.
