Glenn F. Helvie, 75 of Atwood passed away on Friday, July 22, 2022, in Greeley, CO. Per his request, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Glenn was born May 28, 1947, in Mt. Pleasant, New York to Glenn and Nancy (McCord) Helvie. He married Mary J. Hall on July 3, 1968, in Sterling, CO. Glenn cooked many years at the Elks Lodge and owned and operated The Overland Trail Café for the past 23 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son John Helvie and siblings Wanda Thomas, Floyd Helvie, Rose Steele and Delores Manhalter.

Glenn is survived by his wife Mary; children Sheila Hewitt, Glenn Helvie Jr. and wife Chris and Robert Helvie and significant other Gwen Larison; grandchildren Andrew Helvie, Dakota Hewitt, Ashley Johnson, Glenn Helvie III, Michael Helvie, Robbie Helvie, James Helvie, Quentin Helvie, Kayden Helvie, John Helvie Jr., Dani Martinez and Josh Perry and nine great grandchildren.
