Eugene "Gene" Ellis McGuffey, 80 formerly of Casper, Wyoming passed away on Friday, April 6, 2018 at the Sterling Living Center. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, July 27 at Riverside Cemetery with Rev. Jared Sonnenberg officiating.

Gene was born July 7, 1937 in Sterling, Colorado to Margaret McGuffey. He served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged. He worked many years as a rigger in the oil fields.

Gene is survived by his daughter Laura Chevy; granddaughter Skyler and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He is preceded in death by his mother Margaret; a son; sister Darlene Hradecky, a brother and two sisters.
