Gary Lee Harrison

Gary Lee. Harrison, 77, passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2026. Cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time.

Gary was born on December 19,1948 in Kremmling, Colorado to Lillian and Jesse Harrison. Gary grew up in Brush, CO, attended Brush public schools and graduated in 1967. He later moved to Gering, NE where he worked as a welder at Lockwood Irrigation then at the Sugar Factory in Fort Morgan, CO.

Gary always loved animals and had dogs in his home and currently had a little chihuahua mix named Tinker. As a teenager he worked at a friend’s ranch in Kremmling where he helped with chores, haying, and riding horses while remaining lifelong friends with the family. He enjoyed cooking and playing golf.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Lillian Harrison, infant brother Jesse Dean Harrison, sister Wynona Faye Sims, and wife Barbara Harrison.

Gary is survived by his daughter Angela Harrison of Hansville, WA, stepdaughter Francie Stencel of Aurora, CO, brother Mike Harrison of Brush, CO, sister Sue Pratt of Arvada, CO, and sister Billie Walgren of Brush, CO.
