Frieda Wolf, 97 formerly of Sterling passed away on Saturday January 21, 2017 in Brush. Visitation will be Thurs. Jan. 26 from 10 am until the funeral service time at 1:30 pm at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home. Rev. James R. Nash will officiate the service and interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Frieda was born November 18, 1919 in Sterling, Colorado to Alex and Katherine (Rutz) Fritzler. She graduated from Atwood High School in 1937 and on March 3, 1946, she married Rienold Wolf. She always lived on the farm and kept very busy doing the farm and household chores. She was known for her hard work ethic. Frieda loved spending time with family and especially enjoyed the visits from Pastor Nash. She was a longtime member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Sterling.

She is survived by her two sons; Eugene Wolf and wife Geri of Greeley, CO and Robert Wolf and wife Judy of Ft. Morgan, CO; brother, Elmer Fritzler and wife Jean of Ft. Morgan; 3 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Frieda is preceded in death by her parents; husband Rienold, who passed in 2002; brother, Victor Fritzler and grandson, Jeff Wolf.
