Frieda Keil Depke, 95, of Sterling, died July 28, 2011, in Sterling. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Aug. 1, at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2, at Trinity Lutheran Church, with the Rev. James R. Nash officiating. Interment will be in Maywood, Ill.

Mrs. Depke was born March 16, 1916, in Maywood to George W. and Catherine (Gelhorn) Keil. She attended school in Crook.

She moved to Sterling in 1998 from Lisle, Ill.

On June 12, 1987, she married Arthur Depke in Addison, Ill.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She enjoyed spending time with her favorite dog, Buffy.

Mrs. Depke is survived by her nieces and nephews Evelyn Keil Kautz, Alfrieda Keil Nein and husband Reiny, Johnny Keil and wife Linda, Loretta Keil Luft and husband Albert and numerous other nieces and nephews, stepchildren, Ron Depke and Cindy Ulrich.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Fred Lehning and Arthur Depke; brothers, George, John and Soloman Keil; sisters, Emily, Ernestine, Dolly and Martha and nephew Bill Keil.
