Frankie Pachner
Aug. 12, 1913 - Feb. 10, 2008

Frankie Pachner, 94, of Sterling, died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2008, in Sterling. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home, with the Rev. Michael Young officiating. Services will conclude at the funeral home.

Mr. Pachner was born Aug. 12, 1913, to Frank and Barbara (Ruzick) Pachner in Oberlin, Kan. He attended school in Oberlin.

He was a transmission mechanic, drove truck for Whitlock, and helped with his nephews on the farm in Akron.

Mr. Pachner was married to Marie Fisher from 1939 to 1953, when they divorced. In 1966, he married Beulah Nicholson.

He enjoyed playing cards, his friends, playing bingo, and going to the dog races. He was proud of his Bohemian heritage and proud to be a Czechoslavakian.

He is survived by his wife, Beulah Pachner of Sterling; sons, Lary Pachner of Colorado, and William How of Iowa; daughters, Sandy Saenz of Wyoming, Pamela Riley of Minnesota, Linda Palmer of Minnesota, Rhonda Banda of New Mexico, and Barbara Clay of Nebraska; daughter-in-law, Suzanne How of Colorado; sister, Anne Kasper of Colorado; 26 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Katherine; brothers, John, Rudolph, Joseph, James, and Louis; sons, Robert and Gary; and daughters, Bridget and Tiara K.
