Frank Dominic Tadolini, 91 of Sterling, passed away Mon., Jan. 11, 2016 in Sterling. Visitation will be Thurs., Jan. 14, 2016 from 10am until 4pm at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Fri., Jan. 15 at 10:30 am at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home with Pastor Daniel Holsten officiating. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery.
Frank was born Feb. 23, 1924 in Iliff, CO to Alfredo S. and Mary C. Strobietto Tadolini. He graduated from Padroni High School, class of 1942. He served in the United States Army.
He married Virginia Robbins on May 15, 1944 in Sidney, NE. They were married for seventy-one years.
Frank farmed in the Padroni area for over fifty years. When he retired, they moved to Sterling. He was a member of the BPO Elks Lodge No 1336, the Padroni Lions Club, and the American Legion Post No. 20. Frank loved collecting pens, playing cards, polka dancing, participating in tractor pulls and watching rodeos.
Frank is survived by his sons Robert Tadolini and Jerry Tadolini and wife Paula; grandchildren Bryan Olson and wife Christie, Lori Coakley and husband Scott, Mario Conde and Sean Conde; great grandchildren Jake Coakley, Max Coakley, Aivree Conde, Tayten Conde, Tragen Conde, Jessica Talley and Nickie Drieth; sisters Katie Stroup and Inez Bass and husband Ed; brothers Sil Tadolini and Archie Tadolini, numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Virginia, daughter and son-in-law Linda and Lloyd Olson, brother John Tadolini, sisters Norma Asnicar and Helen Koester Timm.
