Frances Cecilia Schwarz Bornhoft, 87, of Fort Morgan, passed away Mon, Dec. 1, 2014 in Brush, CO.

Frances was born Dec. 4, 1926 at Weiner, Arkansas to Conrad and Viola Lehr Schwarz. She married Harold Bornhoft April 17, 1952 in Weiner, Arkansas and they moved to Colorado after their marriage. They lived in Stoneham until 1994, when they moved to Sterling. Harold passed away May 10, 2005. Frances had lived in Fort Morgan the past three years.

She was a member of St. Helena's Catholic Church in Fort Morgan, Joan of Arc Circle and Legion of Mary.

Frances enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and loved to crochet and knit and work crossword puzzles. She crocheted an afghan for each of her grandchildren throughout the years. She loved family get togethers.

Frances is survived by five children, Linda Bornhoft Lawrey and Kevin of Fort Morgan, CO, Roger Bornhoft and Darla Richards of Brush, CO, Barb Bornhoft Blecha and Don of Fort Morgan, CO, Rose Bornhoft Lehmkuhl and John of Sterling, CO, David Bornhoft and Janine of Larkspur, CO; 18 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and a brother Leo Schwarz of Weiner, Arkansas, sister-in-law Jean Schwarz of Berryville, Arkansas, as well as several step siblings, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother Robert Schwarz.

Visitation will be 10am until 4pm Fri., Dec. 5, at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home, with Vigil Service and recitation of the rosary at 7pm on Fri. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10am Sat., Dec. 6, at St. Anthony Catholic Church with interment to follow at Prairie View Cemetery at Stoneham.
