Faye Irwin, 87 of Sterling, passed away Fri., Jan. 29, 2016 in Sterling. Private inurnment to be held at a later date.

Faye was born March 15, 1928, the granddaughter of Frank O. and Cora E. Minton, who raised her from infancy. She lived as a small child with her grandparents near Curtis, NE on a farm. She attended a small country school. She later moved to a farm near Laird, CO where she finished her schooling.

Faye lived in Wray, Co for a short time before moving to a ranch north of Otis, where she lived for 28 years. It was during the time she was baptized and joined the Burdett Presbyterian Church where she attended and taught Sunday School.

When her son Jeffery was married in 1976 she moved to Sterling and made her home until the time of her death.

Faye is survived by a daughter Betty Kuntz and four grandchildren Brett and Ryan Kuntz and Haylee Carrell and Jariah Irwin.

She was preceded in death by a son Doug in 1968, son Jeffery in 1990, her grandparents, sister Bonnie, brother Jerry and aunt Lela Drommond.
