Fairy L. Miles
April 2, 1918 - May 27, 2008
Fairy L. Miles, 90, of Sterling, died May 27, 2008, in Sterling. Visitation will be until 5 p.m. today, May 29, at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home in Sterling. Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, May 30, at Riverside Cemetery, with the Rev. Michael Young officiating. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery.
Mrs. Miles was born April 2, 1918, to James T. and Lucy (Babbitt) Sledd in Akron. She lived with the family in the Kelley area and attended Primrose School.
On July 26, 1940, she married Harland W. MIles in Sterling. They moved to California in 1941 during the war.
They moved back to Colorado, settling northwest of Sterling. In March of 1954, they moved to Willard. They moved to Sterling in 1957, residing here since.
Mrs. Miles is survived by her nephews, Ray Lambert and wife Iris of Sterling and Dana of Washington; and niece, Audrey of Washington.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Lucy Sledd; brother, Kermit Sledd; and husband, Harland Miles.
