Eula Lee Donnelly, 81, went to be with the Lord on May 26, 2014, to join her parents, husband, two brothers, son and grandson.
She is survived by daughters Dianne Eastin, Sue Donnelly and husband Mark Minks, and Mary Jane Perkins and husband Ron, and son Donald Donnelly and his wife Sherry; grandchildren Shani (Chris), Chad (Mary), Nathan (Paula), Noland (Yadira), Jennifer (Joshua), Jessica (Bradley), Jamie, Heather and Shawn (Lucas); and great-grandchildren Delaney, Carlie, Chase, Royce, Cameron, Porter, Ryder, Rayana, Lydia, Alyssa, Emily, Kenneth, Iliff, Karah, Dakotah and Ares.
Eula was born in Missouri on August 22, 1932. She married Donald Donnelly of Sterling in 1952. The couple raised their five children in Iliff, where she was employed as a cook at the school. She loved her family, gardening, dancing and making up songs with her grandchildren. She worked at Gibson's Discount Store as a cashier where she became a grandmother to all until retirement.
A viewing will be held Friday, May 30, 2014, at the Chaney-Reager Funeral Home at 443 S 2nd St in Sterling from 10am to 4pm. Services will be held at 1:30pm on Saturday, May 31, 2014, at the Sterling Nazarene Church at 1600 Sidney Ave. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens following the services. Memorials can be made to the Alzhiemer's Association.
