Obituary

Emma Albrandt Bauder, 97, of Sterling, passed away March 6, 2013, in Sterling. Visitation will be from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 10, at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, March 11, at Chaney-Reager, with Pastor David Loeschke officiating. Services will conclude at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 12, at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Emma was born March 18, 1915, in Hillrose to Christopher and Marie Albrandt.

On June 25, 1938, she married Jacob Bauder in Sterling. They were married for 61 years.
Emma was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Harding Home Demonstration Club and Trinity Lutheran Ruth Guild.

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Bauder) Wilson and husband Dave of Firestone; sons, Larry Bauder and friend Sue of Sterling, Charles Bauder and wife Sylvia of Sterling and Jerry Bauder and wife Jean of Fleming; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jacob Bauder in 1999; four brothers; five sisters; and two great-grandchildren.
