Obituary

Emily May Peake, 28 of Sterling, passed away Thur., Sept. 3, 2015 in Sterling. Memorial service to be 10:30 am, Sat., Sept. 5 at First Presbyterian Church, with services concluding at the church.

Emily was born Jan. 30, 1987 in Sterling to Jerry H. and Dorcey Ann May Peake. She attended Merino schools, graduating from high school. Emily continued her education for four years at the University of Northern Colorado.

She worked at Build A Bear, Highlands Presbyterian Camp and Retreat Center and the University Program Council. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Emily was a member and State President of the FCCLA and member of ASAP. Emily enjoyed drawing and doing many craft projects.

Emily is survived by her parents Jerry and Dorcey Peake of Sterling; Clinton Witteveen; grandmother Helga Peake Eriksen; sisters Alexia M. Peake and Brad Inhulsen and Mackenzie A. Peake Pohja and husband Chad all of Greeley; aunts and uncles Tim and Margie Peake and Paul and Rose Peake; cousins Kerrie and Chris Rute, Jamie Keeler and Brent Hargadin, Jaxon and Justiz Keeler. Jeremy and Mindy Peake and family of Ft Lee, VA, Casey and Katie Gustafson and family of Firestone, Josh and Molly Gustafson and family of Ft. Collins, Jeremy Gustafson of Ft. Collins.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather Darrell D. Peake, grandparents Billy and Jean May and uncle Martin Rutledge May.
