Eleanor E. McKinney, 86 of Iliff, CO joined the Heavenly choir on Thursday, June 6, 2024, surrounded by her family. Cremation will take place and a private graveside service will be held at a later date.

Eleanor E. (Whited/Christner) was born March 3, 1938, in Sterling Colorado to Joy and Beatrice (Simmons) Whited. She was known for wonderful baking skills, her abundance of love for her family, and her love for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

She joins the love of her life George Christner, who proceeded her in death in 1981. She also joins her children Royce, Elmer, Raymond, Darlene and Linda, brother Roland, sisters Betty, Margaret, Marlene, and Lilly.

Eleanor is survived by her sisters Diana and Connie, children Regina Goff, Susan (Dean) Derr, George (Helene) Christner, and Georgia (Bob) Auch. Eleanor loved and was loved by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
