Obituary
Eldon Carey Ploge of Ennis, TX went to be with his Savior on December 26, 2013.
He was born at home at Fleming, CO to Orville and Ruth Plog on Novembr 11, 1936.
He attended Faith Assembly of God in Ennis, TX. He graduated from Greeley Central High School in Greeley, CO and
graduated from the University of Colorado in Boulder with an electrical engineer degree. He worked for NASA on the Saturn rocket project, Proctor and Gamble Corp., and Texas Instruments among other projects.
He had gone to Russia, India, Israel, and various countries on missionary tours. In recent years he was a missionary to China where he met his wife Cindy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant daughter, Renee; one brother, Archie Plog; two sisters, Evelyn Waldren and Dorothy Hall.
He is survived by his wife Cindy Ploge; daughter Holly [Ploge] Handeen and husband Bjorn and daughters Lajla, Vanja, and Saga of Coeur d' Alene, ID; a son Roli Ploge of Cullman, AL, sister Jean Kyle of Sterling, CO, and Willa Rae Warehime of Greeley, CO; numerous nieces and nephews and friends from around the world.
Graveside services will be held in Sterling at Sunset Memorial Gardens on January 6, 2014 @ 2:00 p.m. by Chaney- Reager Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to League of Prayer, P.O. Box 680310, Pratville, AL 36068.
