Obituary
Edward Gene Wells, 60 of Padroni, formally of Van Wert, Ohio, passed away Fri., July 17, 2015 in Padroni, after a courageous battle to cancer.
Private family services will be held at a later date in Van Wert, Ohio.
Ed was born April 25, 1955 in Lima, Ohio to Cleo E. and Jackie Wells. Ed was a 1974 graduate of Van Wert High School. After graduation he served four years in the United States Army.
He married Cynthia A. Buchanan McMichael on Sept. 30, 1991 in Van Wert, Ohio. Ed was a natural carpenter as he always enjoyed working with his hands. He was a truck driver for many years and then worked for IWS in Colorado as a crane operator. He moved to Colorado in Oct. 2001.
Ed loved grilling, working in his shop and loved his horse "Stormey".
Ed is survived by his wife Cindy Wells of Padroni, CO; mother Jackie Wells of Van Wert,Ohio; brother Ron (Linda) Wells of convoy, Ohio; sisters Sheryl Burns of Flint, MI and Jenny (Stan) Lichtenberger of Van Wert, Ohio and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Ed was also survived by stepchildren Taunya McMichael Breece and husband Brad of Van Wert, Tina McMichael Danylchuk and husband Scott of Wilshire, Ohio, Jonathon McMichael and Karen Moulton of Convoy, Ohio and several step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father Cleo E. Wells and his grandparents.
