Obituary
Edward G. Reed, 75, of Sterling, died April 1, 2011, in Sterling. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home. Graveside services with inurnment will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 6, at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Reed was born Jan. 11, 1936, in Fulton, Tenn., to Leo and Hattie (Todd) Reed.
On Dec. 14, 1960, he married Beverly J. Wilson in Merino.
He enjoyed the outdoors and riding motorcycles.
Mr. Reed is survived by his daughter, Edna Bradford and husband Darrell of Lamar; sons, Russell E. Reed and Kenneth Reed and Jessica, all of Sterling; grandchildren, Leroy Bradford, Kelly Bradford, Becky Wolever, Sara Reed and Kaleigh Reed; and great-granddaughter, Tymberlie Wolever.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Beverly Reed on March 23, 2011; brothers, Harold Lee Reed; and two sisters.
Memorials may be made to the Edward Reed Memorial.
