Edith Lenore Roth

Edith Lenore Roth, 76, of Sterling, died Sunday, April 15, 2007, in Sterling. There was cremation. Memorial services will be Wednesday, April 18, at 10 a.m. at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home. Inurnment will be at Fleming Cemetery.
Mrs. Roth was born Sept. 28, 1930, to Herman and Mary Horner Watson in Haxtun.
She was an avid bowler and worked for Sunset Lanes for many years. She also coached the junior leagues.
On Sept. 11, 1948, she married Ernest Roth in Sterling.
She spent many hours crocheting and donated many afghans to the nursing homes.
Mrs. Roth is survived by three daughters, Judy Conover and husband Steve of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Deb Roth and Barb McKay, both of Sterling; one son, David Roth of Sterling; 10 grandchildren, Jeremy Marshall of Denver, Chad Marshall of Fort Lauderdale, Nathan Marshall of Afghanistan, Tammy Maggard and husband Jason, Jessica Fritzler, Travis McKay, Chris McKay, Hannah McKay, Byron Roth and Whitney Roth, all of Sterling; two great-grandsons, Joshua and Samuel Maggard of Sterling; and her brother, Wayne Watson of Brighton.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Roth, June 22, 2002; infant son, Daniel; parents, Herman and Mary Horner; stepfather, Daniel Watson; brothers, Bud Horner, Skinny Horner and Ralph Horner; and sisters, Gladys Brown and Gloria Smith.
