Dorothy Irene (Graham) Willich, 104, of Stoneham, CO passed away on Monday, November 6, 2017. The family will receive friends from 2 – 4 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 12 at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, Nov. 13 at Christ United Methodist Church with Rev. Spencer Green officiating. The burial will be at Prairie View Cemetery and the meal will follow at the Stoneham Community Building.

Dorothy entered this life on July 7, 1913 in Oil City, Pennsylvania to Albert V. and Octavia (Kellogg) Graham where she lived until she was 8 years old. In the early 1920's, she and her Mother, her 2 brothers and 2 sisters joined their father in Chatham, Ontario, Canada, where her father had previously moved for work in the oil field business. They lived there for 8 years. In 1929, Dorothy and her family moved to Santa Maria, California. Dorothy graduated from Santa Maria High School in 1931. Soon after, her family packed up again and moved to Greeley, Colorado where Dorothy attended Colorado Teacher's College. Dorothy got a job teaching school at Vim, CO in 1935. Dorothy married the love of her life, Kenneth Willich on June 4, 1936. In 1942, Ken and Dorothy adopted their son David Edward. In 1944, Ken and Dorothy bought the home north of Stoneham, where Dorothy lived until the time of her death. In 1945, Ken and Dorothy adopted their daughter Karla Jo. Dorothy was a member of the Methodist Church in Willard, CO since 1944.

Dorothy is survived by her son David and his wife Janet of Stoneham Colorado, her daughter Karla and husband Phillip of Monument, CO.; her grandchildren are Steven Willich of Aurora, CO, Julie (Willich) Hays and her husband Derrick of Broomfield, CO, Robert Willich of Stoneham, CO, Kendell Kroeker and wife Christy of Casper, WY and Krystal (Kroeker) Hearne and husband Bill of Colorado Springs, CO. Dorothy's great-grandchildren are Joshua Kroeker, Seth Hays, Daniel Kroeker, Liam Hearne, and Evan Hearne.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth, her parents, sisters Antoinette (Tony) Richardson, Margaret Moore, Joseph Graham and Bruce Graham, and her granddaughter Dorothy Margaret Willich, as well as multiple other extended family members.

Dorothy loved baking, playing cards, church, and spending time with her family and friends.
