Dorothy Jean Norling, 98 of Sterling, passed away Tues., March 29, 2016 in Sterling. Private family graveside will be held.
Dorothy was born Sept. 19, 1917 in Danville, Illinois to Fred and Adeline Kohler Delbridge. She graduated from high school.
On Sept. 6, 1941 she married Roy H. Norling in Chicago, Illinois. They were married for 54 years before Roy passed away. Dorothy was an executive secretary at the Continental Bank in Chicago.
She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and loved singing in the church choir and to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Dorothy is survived by her son Roy A. Norling and wife Angela of Sterling, CO; grandchildren Jennifer Roberts of Sterling, Timothy Norling of Westminster, CO and Rebecca Norling of Lincoln, NE; great grandchildren Jacob and Quinnlynn Parrish, Katherine, Emma and Liam Roberts and Shanice Norling.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roy H. Norling, and baby sons Mark and Dean Norling.
