Obituary
Dorothy Loos Dorothy E. Loos, 86, of Sterling, died Thursday, April 29, 2010. Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 4, at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home with Blaine Malmedal officiating.
Mrs. Loos was born Nov. 12, 1923, in Patricia, S.D., to Carl Jacob and Della Helen (Frese) Christensen.
She married Jack Richard Loos on Aug. 17, 1978 in Sterling. He died in 2002.
She worked at U-Save for 23 years.
She enjoyed golfing when she could.
Mrs. Loos is survived by sister, Goldia Knowles and husband Bud of Sterling; brother, Carl Christensen and wife Rose of Sterling; seven nieces and four nephews.
She was preceded in death by husband, Jack; parents, Carl J and Della H. Christensen; two nieces and one nephew; brother, Robert Christensen and sister, Edna Thompson.
Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
