Dorothy Lynnette France, 61 of Sterling passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at her home. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 12, 2017 at the Willard United Methodist Church with Rev. Spencer Green officiating. The service will conclude at the church.

Dorothy was born September 3, 1955 in Sterling, CO to Willis Fay and Eleanor Jean (Anderson) Crowell. She graduated from Merino High School in 1974. She worked as a hotel reservationist for the gold club members.

She is survived by her sisters; Marilyn Houghton and husband Gary of Grand Island, NE, Cindy Chesterman of Akron, CO and Karen Peterson of Loveland, CO; brother, Danny Crowell of Merino, CO; 4 nephews, 3 nieces, 3 great nephews, 2 great-great nephews and 1 great-great niece.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Dale, Rick and Duane Crowell; nephew Justin Duane Crowell and 2 nieces, Bailey Renee Chesterman and Kelley Lynnette Press.
