With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy Ellen Albrandt, a woman whose life was a testament to kindness and strength. Dorothy, age 84, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, after a long battle with illness.

Viewing will be held from 1:00-4:00 p.m., Sunday, March 30 at Halouska Family Chaney-Reager Funeral Home. A celebration of Dorothy's life will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, March 31 at Halouska Family Chaney-Reager Funeral Home in Sterling with Reverend James R. Nash officiating. She will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery.

A lifelong resident of Sterling Colorado, she was known for her unwavering support of her family and her infectious laugh. She enjoyed cruising to car shows with their friends and traveling with family.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Alma Lane.

Dorothy is survived by her husband Donald, her son Richard, her daughter-in-law Donna, her brother Elton Lane, and wife Carroll, and multiple nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Dorothy's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
