Obituary
Donald L. Bard, 85, passed away Fri., July 25, 2014 in Sterling. Memorial service will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens at 2:00 p.m. Fri., Aug. 22, 2014.

Don was born Jan. 19, 1929 in Haxtun, CO to Raymond F. and Clara J. Price Bard. He graduated from Sedgwick High School. Don served in the US Army from 1945 until his discharge in 1947. After the service he moved to California until 1988 when he moved back to Sterling. Don owned and operated D & D Taxi Service until 2006, when he sold his business to enjoy retirement.
Don is survived by a son David, nephews Jim and Brian, grandchildren Matthew and Shannon and other grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Dianna in 2004, daughter Donna and several other relatives.
