Dianna Lynn Schneider-Lawler was born on May 16, 1957 in Sterling, CO to Herman and Georgia Schneider. She went to be with her Lord, peacefully, surrounded by her family and friends on October 27, 2017. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Dianna will be held at 10:30 a.m., at Trinity Lutheran Church on Thursday, November 2, 2017. Services will conclude at the church.
Dianna grew up in Iliff, Colorado. She graduated from Caliche High School in 1975. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education from University of Northern Colorado in 1979. She taught for many years including preschool, elementary, and special education. In 1989, she married Michael E. Lawler in Sterling.
Dianna had a great sense of humor, and she loved her family. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran church and enjoyed going to Bible Study. She also enjoyed crafts, scrapbooking, puzzles and listening to KLOVE. She enjoyed collecting leaves and rocks, and taking care of her plants. She also enjoyed shopping and going to family gatherings.
Dianna always saw the best in people and showed a great deal of grace to those who needed it most. She contributed significantly to the lives of others, emotionally and spiritually.
She is preceded in death by close family friend Jared Lynn Blair and cousin Lori Jean Herren.
Dianna is survived by her husband, Michael E. Lawler; sons Chris (Lyn) Lawler and John Holliday; daughters: Kari Lonneman, Kelsee Lawler, and Janie (Allen) Gray. She had multiple grandchildren: Rianna, Taryn and Cambree Lawler; Veronica and Christopher Abeyta; Cody Shepherd, Ayden Gray, and Peyton Gray.
She is also survived by her parents, Herman and Georgia Schneider; siblings Debbie (Robert) Hunt, Jake (Kathy) Schneider, George (Barb) Schneider, Greg Schneider, Denise (Roger) Robertson, Daneen Schneider, and Dana (Kurt) Potter, and many nieces, nephews, and close friend Terri Cudd.
Memorials may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church c/o Chaney-Reager Funeral Home, PO Box 1046, Sterling, CO 80751. Arrangements are being handled by Chaney-Reager.
