Diane Elaine Vallier, 73 of Peetz, Colorado passed away unexpectedly Sunday, December 1, 2024. Viewing will be held from 1-6:00 p.m., Friday, December 6, with family to receive friends from 4-6:00 p.m. at Halouska Family Chaney-Reager Funeral Home. A Memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, December 9 at Peetz Community Center with Pastor Jodie Harless officiating. The service will conclude at the community center.

Diane was born February 21, 1951, in Scottsbluff, NE to David Schwartz and Georgia Elaine (Risk) Schwartz. She worked as a registered nurse for many years. Diane married Donald Vallier on February 1, 1982, in Las Vegas, NV.

Diane was a member of the Red Hats society and the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 134 and the Hilltoppers. She enjoyed knitting blankets, attending all of her grandkid's events and going to garage sales. She was an avid fan of the Nebraska Cornhuskers and Denver Broncos.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Mark Schwartz.

Diane is survived by her husband Don Vallier, son David (Tiffany) Vallier of Peetz, CO, daughter Darla (Nate) Brauer of Sidney, NE; sisters Donna (Gary) Gordon of Scottsdale, AZ and Mary Schwartz of Aurora, CO; brothers Brian (Diane) Schwartz of Tacoma, WA and Scott Schwartz of Maple Valley, WA and grandchildren Addyson and Khira Gipfert, Logan Vallier, and Joyce and Matthew Brauer.
