Delores Marie Brant, 79, of Sterling, died Jan. 1, 2010, in Sterling. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5, with Vigil service and Rosary to follow at 7 p.m. at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home in Sterling. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 6, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, with the Rev. Robert L. Wedow officiating.
Interment will follow at the Akron Cemetery.

Mrs. Brant was born Aug. 13, 1930, in Sterling to George and Catherine (Schlautman) Ebbers.
On May 7, 1951, she married Chester Lee Brant.

She is survived by two daughters, Cynthia Jensen of Pasco, Wash., and Delphine Brant of Sterling; three granddaughters, Nicole Eaker of Pasco, Tina Neel of Sterling and Ashley Johnson of Sterling; seven sisters, Marcella Glanz and husband Joe of Yuma, Rosella Ebbers of Sterling, Marylou Bradley of Benkelman, Neb., Shirley Furrow and husband Dale of Iliff, Millie Silvius and husband Don of Yuma, Anabelle Shoemaker and husband Tom of Utah and Helen Schrecengost and David Nye; three sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Brant was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one sister, Dorothy Lechman; six sisters-in-law and eight brothers-in-law.
