David "Dave" Allen Swan, 51, of Sterling passed away unexpectedly Sunday, August 24, 2014 in Sterling. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 27 at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home with family receiving friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, August 28 at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
David was born October 13, 1962 in Sterling to Cecil W. and Margaret F. (Gritton) Swan.
He was a mechanic for CDOT (Colorado Department of Transportation). He was a member of the Red Hill Gun Club and enjoyed fishing, riding his Commander UTV, and his dogs, Cocoa and Jenny.
Dave is survived by his parents, Cecil and Margaret Swan of Sterling ; wife, Dawna; daughters, Kelli Aimar and husband Ryan of Northglenn and Kayla Myers and husband Chaz of Fort Collins; brother, Scott and wife Demmy of Sterling; numerous nieces and nephews.
