Danny Ray Dolan

Danny Ray Dolan, 59, of Sterling, died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2008, in Fort Collins. Visitation will be today, Feb. 4, until 4 p.m. at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5 at First Baptist Church in Sidney, Neb., with the Rev. Raymond Stokes officiating. Burial will follow at 11 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Sterling.
Mr. Dolan was born Oct. 28, 1948, to Louise Claire (Chandler) and Arnold Thomas Dolan in Sterling. He graduated from Sidney High School in 1967.
He was self-employed in retail sales and service.
In September of 1968, Mr. Dolan married Janet C. Mitchell in Sidney, Neb.
He was a member of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Dolan had three beloved dogs over the years, George, Bo and Jake.
He is survived by his wife, Janet of Sterling; sister, Peggy Stern of Sterling; brothers, Rod Dolan of Sidney, Neb., Mickey Dolan of Scottsbluff, Neb., Pat Dolan of Kenesaw, Neb., Larry Dolan of Nevada, and Jerry Dolan of Security.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Nancy Dolan; brother, Tommy Dolan; uncle, Leonard Pevler; aunt, Aileen Pevler; cousin, Janice Amen and husband Bob.
