Daniel J. Collins 39, of Sterling passed away unexpectedly in Ft. Morgan, CO. A memorial service will be held in his honor at 2:00 p.m., Saturday July 17 at Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Richard Flores officiating. The service will conclude at the church.

Daniel was born January 17, 1982, in Cincinnati, OH to Jerry and Martha (Beemer) Collins. Daniel enjoyed college football, loved the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cincinnati Bengals, and Indiana Pacers and his favorite Saturday activity was watching games with his boys. He also enjoyed fishing with his family.  Daniel couldn't live without his lime salt and his hot sauce.  He was a wonderful dad; he loved his family.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Marty Collins.Daniel

is survived by his wife, Lillie Collins; father, Jerry Collins; son, Oliver Reno Collins; daughter, Jaylin Collins; son, Cooper Collins; sister, Jennifer Davisson and her husband Troy; brother, Christopher Collins and his wife Christa; sister, Angela Beadles and her husband Ryan; and numerous nieces and nephews, and the Boden family who loved him very much.
