Cora Lee Jackson, 57, of Sterling passed away Thursday, March 13, 2014 in Sterling. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to noon Monday, March 17 at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. at the Merino Cemetery.

Cora was born June 15, 1956 in Walter, Oklahoma to Mason Edward and Barbara Joann (Weimer) Cranford. She moved from Fort Morgan to the Sterling area in the 1980's. She worked in the mental health field as a case manager.

Cora is survived by her son, Jeffery Aufenkamp and daughter, Teresa Helvie (Melvin Gray); grandchildren Jeremy Aufenkamp, Michael Helvie, James Helvie, Logan Gray and Bryce Gray; great-granddaughter, Leah Aufenkamp; brothers Terry Cranford and James Cranford; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Kenneth Leon Jackson III; brothers, John Cranford and Ed Cranford; and sister, Lisa Schocke.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Cora Lee Jackson Memorial Fund.
