Consuelo M. Rocha, 66, of Sterling, died May 3, 2011, in Fort Morgan. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home. Services will be at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 12, at Chaney-Reager, with the Rev. Gilbert Gutierrez officiating. Services will conclude at the funeral home.

She was born Aug. 20, 1944, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Manuelo and Antonia (Garcia) Montes.

Mrs. Rocha lived in the Sterling area, working at the beef plant. She moved to Limon in 1997 and worked at the Coleman Beef Plant until 2007.

She married Luis S. Rocha Sr. in Plainview, Texas, in 1969. In 1972, they moved to Iliff.

Mrs. Rocha is survived by her daughters, Mary Rocha and Rosendo Renteria of Sterling, Sylvia Rocha and Precilano Rivera of Fort Morgan and Celia Rocha and Manuel Guereca of Sterling; sons, Luis Rocha Jr. of Iliff and Raymond Rocha of Mount Pleasant, Texas; five sisters; 17 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Luis Rocha Sr. in 1995; and two brothers.
