Cliff E. Bickel, 86, a longtime Sterling resident passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at his home. Private family services will be held at a later time.

Cliff was born March 17, 1932 in Sidney, Nebraska to TJ and Pearl (Couch) Bickel. He married Shirley Vanderau on July 6, 1980 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Cliff was a lifetime member of the Sterling BPOE Lodge #2336.

Cliff is survived by his wife, Shirley; son Rod Bickel and wife Kristin of La Junta, CO; grandchildren, Briana Dutro and husband Keith, Parker Bickel and wife Aleala and Hayden Bickel all of La Junta, CO.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
