Charlotte Joan Woodmancy, 85 of Sterling, passed away Tues., March 17, 2015 in Sterling. Visitation Sun., March 22 from 2pm until 4pm at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home with Vigil Service and Recitation of the Rosary at 7pm at Chaney-Reager. Mass of Christian Burial Mon, March 23 at10am at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Interment at 2pm at Fleming Cemetery.

Charlotte was born Sept. 2, 1929 in Fleming, CO to Albert and Frances Hradecky Volz.

She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, a past state president of War Mothers, member of Royal Neighbors, VFW Aux., and past president of Immaculate Conception Circle.

Charlotte is survived by her son Albert E. Wise of Sterling; grandsons Dale Wise and wife Amy of Sterling and Phillip Wise and wife Crystal of Bushland, TX and god-daughter Dena Merithew of Chapman, NE; sister Veronica McAtee of Aurora and two great grandchildren, two nieces Frances and Cheryl, nephew Sidney.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Maryellen Wise, husbands Herman Wise and John Woodmancy, two brothers John Volz and Paul Volz, one sister Rosemarie Volz and two nephews Gerald and Cecil.
