Cecelia Louise Henry-Gunnels

Cecelia Louise Henry-Gunnels, 54, of Artesia, N.M., died Aug. 20, 2007, in Artesia General Hospital. Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 7, at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home, with the Rev. Michael Young officiating. Inurnment will be at Riverside Cemetery.
She was born Sept. 6, 1952, to Russell Henry and Bonnella (McGuire) Henry in Sterling. She graduated from high school in Sterling.
Mrs. Henry-Gunnels worked for Denver Human Services as a trainer, before getting married to Gary Lynn Gunnels on Sept. 5, 2000, in Portales, N.M.
Her hobbies were stained glass, sewing and writing. She loved animals.
She is survived by her husband of the home in Artesia; one daughter, Melinda of Nebraska; and one brother, Harry of Dallas, Texas.
Mrs. Henry-Gunnels was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Larry.
Memorial contributions may be made to any animal shelter or animal charity in lieu of flowers.
