Caroline J. Chadwick 84, of Sterling, Colorado passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2024. Cremation will take place, and no services will be held.

Caroline was born April 28, 1940, in Leadville, CO to Carl and Martha (Schurman) Kissinger. She attended and graduated from Lake County High School and the Denver Business School. After graduating from college, she worked at Varsity Cleaners in Leadville for many years. Caroline loved animals and playing bingo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Shannon Bortz, and son-in-law Alfred Garcia

Caroline is survived by her son Shawn (Karen) Kissinger of Euless, TX, daughters April Constable of Colorado Springs, CO and Dee Dee Dawn Bortz-Garcia of Pueblo, CO, 3 grandchildren,11 great grandchildren and her ex-husband Dale Bortz.
