Carol Ann Wolfe, 82 of Sterling, passed away Wed., Feb. 3, 2016 in Sterling. Visitation will be Tues., Feb. 9 from 10am until 6pm with family receiving friends from 4pm until 6pm at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Wed., Feb. 10 at 10am at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home with Rev. Jared Sonnenberg officiating. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery.
Carol was born Nov. 12, 1933 in Iliff, CO to Leonard LeRoy and Verda Ann Howton Bunning. She graduated from Sterling High School.
On April 7, 1961 she married Edward Wolfe in Sterling, CO. Carol was a bookkeeper at S & S Auto as well as several other businesses during her life. She also worked at Wal-Mart for fourteen years where she loved greeting people and became "grandma" to many. She was a member of First Christian Church and the Elks Lodge.
Carol is survived by daughters Annette Mitchell and husband Cameron of Sterling, CO; Jeanette Hagerman and husband Dr. Rodney of Yokosuka, Japan; Lynette Shaw and husband Ray of Mesa, AZ; sister Kay Rush and husband Daryl and son Mark and wife Theresa Rush and family all of Arvada, CO; grandchildren Kayleen Kerker of Colo. Springs, Kymbre Mitchell and fiance Alex Grauberger of Ft. Collins, Shanna Schopmeyer and husband Steven of Mesa, AZ, Lindsey Moser and husband Michael of Honolulu, Hawaii, Ryan Hagerman of Yokosuka, Japan and great grandchildren Adrien Chavez of Colo. Springs and Nicholas Moser of Honolulu, Hawaii; as well as nieces, nephews and many other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Leonard and Verda Bunning, husband Edward Wolfe and granddaughter Nicole Hagerman.
