Obituary
Carol Ellen Martin, 76 of Sterling, passed away Sat., Sept. 6, 2014 in Sterling. Memorial service will be 11:00 am, Sat., Sept. 13 at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home, with Rev. Michael Young officiating. Service will conclude at the funeral home.
Carol was born June 29, 1938 in Sterling to Arlie and Ona Mae Myers Klimper. She graduated from Merino High School. Carol married Jay Martin on May 4, 1958 in Brighton, CO. She was a waitress at several area restaurants thru the years. Carol loved her flower gardens, sewing and collecting dolls.
She is survived by daughter Rhonda Mildenberger and husband Dale of Sterling and son Terry Martin and wife Nancy of Sterling, brother Bob Klimper and wife Evie of the Denver area, five grandchildren, four great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Vera and LaVada, brothers Dean, Estel and Richard, and her husband Jay Martin in 2009.
