Carol Loeschke, age 67 of Haxtun, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2015 at the Haxtun
Hospital in Haxtun, CO. after a long battle with cancer.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Haxtun, CO. Pastor Larry Dye officiated.
Burial will be at a later date in lieu of cremation.

Carol was born March 31, 1948 in Lacrosse, WI to Rev. Orion and Luella Anderson. She grew up in Sioux City, IA. She attended Riverside High School. After graduation, she attended South Dakota State University. Later, Carol received her degree in Special Education and Child Development from Lakes College in Brainerd, MN.

Carol married Dave Loeschke on March 30, 1968 in Sioux City, IA. Carol and Dave moved around the country. They then made their home in Minnesota, Indiana, Michigan, Nebraska and Colorado. Carol was a member of Immanuel Lutheran church and a lifelong child of God.

Carol was a loving mother, grandmother and great¬grandmother. Carol had a fondness for arts and crafts and enjoyed making gifts for her children, grandchildren and friends.

Carol is survived by her husband Dave of Haxtun, Beth (Terry Miles) of O'Neill, NE, Scott and
Monique Loeschke of Alexandria, VA, Jon and Tanya Loeschke of Windsor, MO, Kari (Nic McCreedy) of Empire, MI, four sisters and two brothers, eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
