Bryan Edward Shepard, 58 of Sterling passed away on Monday, April 14, 2025, at home surrounded by his loving family. A celebration luncheon will be held at 12:00 noon, Thursday, April 24 at Sterling Elks Lodge.

Bryan was born May 29, 1966, in Denver, Colorado to James Leo Shepard and Mary Katherine (Carter) Shepard. The family moved to Sterling shortly after and Bryan attended and graduated from Sterling High School. Bryan was lovingly raised by his mother Mary and stepfather Dick Degenhart and his father Jim Shepard. He worked as a maintenance tech for several apartment buildings and hotels in town. Bryan enjoyed hunting and collecting arrowheads.

He is preceded in death by his stepfather Dick Degenhart and nephew Josh Lawson.

Bryan is survived by his mother Mary, father James, brother Bill, daughters Lindsey and Erica, special friends Roger and Rhonda Modrell and best friend, his dog Rusty.

Now Bryan is in the arms of the Angels.
