Bonnie Jo (Jackson) Hobbs, 69 of Sterling passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2022, in Greeley, CO. A celebration Bonnie's of life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 6, 2023, at Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Mike Paulison officiating. She will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Sterling.

Bonnie was born January 1, 1953, in Sterling, Colorado to Lester James Jackson and Bernice Violet (Brunner) Jackson. She attended school at Trinity Lutheran School in Sterling and graduated from Sterling High School. She was a homemaker, daycare provider, and a nurse's aide as well as a housekeeper.

She married Darrell Lee Hobbs Sr. on July 25, 1970, in Sterling, CO. She loved sewing, crocheting, crafting, fishing, cooking, gardening, canning, and collecting antiques. She was affectionately known as the "Lock N Lock Queen."

She is preceded in death by her parents Lester and Bernice; her in-laws Paul and Ethel Hobbs; sister Leslie Martinez; brother-in-law Martin Martinez and brother-in-law Rodney Hobbs and daughter-in-law Kim Hobbs

Bonnie is survived by her husband Darrell Sr.; daughter Sandra (Wesley) Hysell of Madison, NE; sons Darrell (Paige) Hobbs Jr. of Severance, CO and Mike (Mary Brown) Hobbs of Greeley, CO; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sisters Debra Jackson of Sterling, CO and Judy (Dave) Marshall of Sterling, CO and in-laws Gary (Betty) Hobbs of The Villages, FL.
